This piece was created for my Typography class at Rock Valley College. The entire piece was made in Adobe Photoshop, with heavy use of the Warp Tool. I started with a photograph of Kermit the Frog as a reference point, and then created layers above the photo where I typed in the lyrics to the song “Rainbow Connection”. Each word – and in some cases, letter – was warped individually to create the silhouette of Kermit. The final touch was to use the Burn and Dodge tools to add shading to the piece.
