This piece was created as a Christmas present for my father-in-law, who hiked portions of the Appalachian Trail in 2016. I used one of his photographs from the trip as the general layout for the poster, and vintage National Parks posters from the 1930s inspired the feel of the piece. It was designed and created completely in Adobe Ilustrator to maintain the vintage effect. The National Parks are a huge source of inspiration for me, and it was such a pleasure to work on this project. It now hangs in my in-law’s living room!
