Lasso of Filth
This piece was created as a project for my graphic design degree where we had free creative reign. Our only instruction ws to make an image that was our own in photoshop using the tools available. I scanned in various drawings from sketchbooks and set them as brushes. I also used the same commands to sample my handstyles and used them, along with generic downloaded brushes, as background elements. The base image underneath all the layers of paint, is a sampled concrete wall texture. I wanted to give the piece an authentic look of being a wall that had been repeatedly bombed and tagged over and over until most of what was written is no longer legible. These are available as digital prints in various sizes through Bluecanvas.com
