All my Dreams Are Lonely Roads
This piece was put together in Photoshop using customized brushes and source imagery that was entered into a poster competition for Full Deck: A traveling Exhibit of Skateboard Art. We were given three themes to chose from. My choice ended up illustrating the different forces and activities in my life that have contributed to my free spirited tendencies of independence. Skateboarding, graffiti, punk rock and hip hop all served to play off each other as major influences in my life and artisitic style. I won third place and promptly spent the prize money on drugs. The competition culminated with a show at the Rockford Art Museum that also displayed a mural created by myself and local area artists Eddie Fajardo, Joe Goral, Javier Jimenez, Jesus Correa, Sarah Stewart, Larry Barr, Dillon Couhlihan and Dan Moorman.
