Army of Fleabag Dreamers
What do you do when tthe head of the art department at the nearest college calls and says "We want you to do your thing in our gallery?" This is not a trick question. You order seven hundered plus dollars of spray paint, enlist your closest friends and paint that sucker crazy. Army of Fleabag Dreamers was a show I organized through Rockford College and was curated by Molly Carter. It included local Rockford artists Javier Jimenez, Eddie Fajardo, Joseph Goral and Laurrence Barr. The show centered around themes of outcasts, heroes, disillusionment, dream chasing, and undead rabid murderous fowl. As a group of artisits who had all worked together on various other projects, we created 6 panels collaboratively along with a 40x15ft main mural(pictured here). The creation of the mural was chronicled by Matt Youngblood and can be viewed on the Paintings page of this sight if your lucky enough to know the password.
