Fatherless Print Posse

What happens when you combine the artistic flavor, drawing, screen printing, and design skills of Greg Lang, Jarrod Hennis, Corey Hagberg and Javier Jimenez? You get the Fatherless Print Posse. Fatherless was born from the idea of the finished work not having one creator to take credit for the work. We wanted a bastard child end result and Fatherless was a fitting name considering we all had deadbeat or plain old dead dads at the time. We try to incorporate imagery that pays tribute to the name and illustrates a pure lack of paternal guidance or structured values and traditions. We have recently blessed in Dave Menard to the gang and our recipe for disaster usually culminates in a live or group print jam of multiple screens switched around to create different end results. Each member is responsible for gathering his own imagery to contribute. Some projects that have been participated in were the Papergirl in Berlin, NYC, Albany, Manchester, Dublin, and San Francisco, Unforgettable Art, Wicker Park Arts fest, Milwaukee Ave. Arts fest. and some others that I can't shake loose from my mind right now. The pictured image is from our first series of prints. To contact Fatherless go to www.wearefatherless.com
